I had a nice stay overall, but the highlight was definitely the rooftop bar with a lovely view and the delicious truffle eggs at the cafe next door. The room was spotless, and I appreciated the modern amenities. It looked even better in person than in the photos! I would definitely book this place again.

hugo has a great location, just a 5-minute walk to fantastic restaurants and in a safe area. the rooms were clean and had a lovely view of the river. the restaurant on the first floor was excellent, and the gym area was nice. special shout-out to josh at the front desk for his top-notch recommendations!

I had a decent stay at Hugo. The rooftop bar offered amazing views of the Hudson and Jersey City. It’s a great spot for drinks and food. The room had the most comfortable mattress I've slept on in years. I loved the quiet atmosphere. I didn’t hear anyone else while in my room. The coffee area in the lobby is also a nice touch. However, the bathroom could use brighter lights, especially above the mirror. We faced some issues with the blinds not blocking out the sun and the plumbing in the bathroom. It flooded, causing quite a hassle, but staff responded when we informed them. Overall, I appreciated the ambiance and the helpful staff.
